Tables 1.4

This version offers the following new features:
  • Multiple cells can be merged and merged cells can be split again
  • Improved Universal Access support for example for VoiceOver
  • The window can be split so that different sheets/areas of the document can be displayed
  • References in formulas are marked with different colors after input
  • Cells and sheets can be protected against changes
  • Optimization on detection of dependencies in formulas with references
  • Improved Import for documents in OpenDocument format
  • Sheets with dynamic size, viz. inserting and removing columns/rows will automatically resize the sheet
  • A document can be printed with all sheets and exported as PDF in complete form or with a specified range of sheets
  • The input of a number value in a cell with the format type percentage is directly transformed into a percentage quotation
  • The scale of a page for printing can directly be changed in the Sheets Inspector
  • New financial functions IPMT and PPMT
  • New statistical function MODE
  • New AppleWorks Importer using the AppleScript interface in AppleWorks
  • The type of a chart can be specified directly when inserting a new chart
  • Automatic and manual recalculation of the functions NOW(), TODAY() and RAND() when opening a document or with the menu item "Recalculate"
  • The data range from a selected chart is marked with color
  • The search field in the toolbar is now able to search cell comments
  • A new inspector window can be opened with an Option click on the icon in the inspector window
  • Setup for continuous pagination or specification of a start value for pagination in the sheet inspector
  • The Inspector window can now be resized for some inspectors
  • The color panel has a new button to change the text or background color of a cell
  • Warnings during import can be displayed for further processing
